What is THC-A?

THC-A is short for tetrahydrocannabinolic acid. This unique acidic cannabinoid is the THC precursor found in cannabis plant varieties, including hemp and marijuana plant. Will THCA flower get me high?

This process is called decarboxylation. So while the raw, unheated flower won't get you high, consuming it using heat-based methods will produce similar effects to traditional cannabis.
